We can thank Jenna for that!

Leopard print felt like such a natural accent to this collection, it adds some gentle difference and blends so seamlessly into the pattern and prints to give them more interest, it’s confident and brash - in such a way that often I drool over the look and feel of faux animal skins, tactile and luxurious, moreishly stylish - perfectly offset with other prints and colours, leopard print nestles into rooms so easily - it reminds me of chucking on my favourite faux fur coat with any outfit, it’s actually the highlight of my year when I can bring out the fur and dress it up day or night. Just like a coat can do that to the brain’s fashion endorphins, surely furniture can do it too. Something to ponder for sure… i’m pretty certain a leopard print chair would give me the exact same feeling.

“The woman who dressed America”

We have Jenna Lyons, previously dubbed, “The women who dressed America” and to me an absolute fashion dream boat to thank for so many of our fashion allowances, she is forever my queen of high low dressing, confirming sequins as daywear being just one of her glorious style moments. My personal style muse for sure and now I can’t wait to get dressed today!

Yet perhaps it was the most radical of her idea we all happily adopted all those years ago, Jenna told us “Leopard print is neutral” and how we shifted, forever thankfully it was no longer tacky, trashy or cheap - it was stylish, easy to wear and was a relaxed neutral that actually could be paired with anything. I always look to leopard print for a calming print clash.

Its instantly edgy - obviously out there and decadently pleasing to the eye. Whether you’re a minimalist, maximalist or perhaps even a mellowist this big cat print is an instant enhancers, its bold, its neutral, and it's wild. Perhaps even a little bit rock and roll. It also gives that real Brit pop feel, a fashion attitude and model behaviour style, and once its with a red lip - well…
