Larissa Great-Rex.

Designer.

With two decades of Creative Industry experience across Visual Design, Fashion, Styling, Photography and Retail Concepts, I bring to you Larissa Great-Rex Design, an Interior Design Studio based in Ancoats, Manchester. My Interior Design services offer both a creative and responsible vision for a modern home and lifestyle.

As a skilled Upholsterer and Furniture Designer I create luxury one of a kind pieces of couture furniture, inspired by fashion and made with the intention to be planet conscious. I breath new life into pre-loved items, reimagining them beyond their former beauty into objects of stylish elegance. Both my furniture designs and Interiors have been featured in British Vogue and House & Garden magazines.

But.. before all of that - I graduated Art School with First Class Honours in ‘Fashion Styling and Image Making’ I started my creative career at a London based fashion Magazine, then spent the next five years travelling the world for a living before basing my career back in England over 10 years ago.

Handcrafted.

Connecting catwalk fashion with interior design is the inspiration behind my range of statement furniture and artistically designed pieces handpicked into small curated collections. Each of the pieces are designed and created in-house, every item uniquely reimagined and handcrafted. The satisfyingly stand out pieces in the collection are one of a kind objects, this is Haute Couture with a difference.

RE:IMAGINE is my creative upholstery service that brings your much loved furniture back to life, reinvent your style and transform your home by reupholstering your current furniture into something new.

You can also find me breathing new life into furniture items saved from the UK’s recycling centres as an artisan designer on hit BBC TV show ‘Money for Nothing’.
